2. What is Core Knowledge and how does it apply to education theory?

1.      The "Core Knowledge" movement is an educational reform based on the premise that a grade-by-grade core of common learning is necessary to ensure a sound and fair elementary education.  Core Knowledge is the creating of schools in which in earlier education is far more vital. Students start having a more rigorous program and learning base from the start.  It starts from the “core”.  This applies to education theory in the sense that it is making education more challenging.  There is a lot of pressure on schools but also on the students.  http://www.21stprepschool.org/Academics/CoreKnowledge.aspx
